What does a senior move manager do?
A senior move manager coordinates the practical and emotional work of an older adult's move — planning, sorting, distribution, packing, mover coordination, unpacking, and new-home setup. Tremula performs this coordination and works with licensed movers, appraisers, and other professionals as needed.
What does Tremula coordinate?
Downsizing, senior moves, assisted-living transitions, estate organization, home preparation for sale, resale and donation coordination, and remote family involvement — end to end, with one accountable coordinator.
Can family members participate remotely?
Yes. Zoom family meetings, photo inventories, digital decision boards, shared timelines, and written progress updates are part of how we work by default.
Does Tremula provide the moving truck?
No. We coordinate a licensed, insured mover on your behalf. Keeping those services separate protects you and lets us stay focused on planning and coordination.
How are belongings handled?
With care and documentation. Significant items are photographed and logged; heirlooms and art are packed by hand; distribution to family members is tracked; and donation, consignment, and resale are coordinated with vetted partners.
Can Tremula work with my realtor or attorney?
Yes. We work alongside realtors, estate attorneys, trustees, financial advisors, and care managers regularly, and we're careful to stay in our lane.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing is determined after a consultation, based on the scope of the home, the timeline, and the family's participation. We provide a written proposal before any engagement begins.
How far in advance should we call?
Sooner is easier. Ideally four to eight weeks before a target move date. That said, we also take on urgent projects and will be honest about what's realistic.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. We do not photograph, record, or share information about clients or their homes without explicit permission, and testimonials are only published with written consent.
