The Process

Five stages. One accountable point of contact.

Every family we work with arrives with a different set of circumstances. What stays the same is the way we work: careful, unhurried, well-documented, and organized around a single coordinator who is responsible for the whole picture.

  1. 01

    Private Consultation

A quiet conversation — by phone, video, or in your home — to understand what's happening, who's involved, and what a good outcome looks like.

  2. 02

    Personalized Transition Plan

A written plan that names the scope, sequence, and timing of the transition, and identifies which decisions need to be made and by whom.

  3. 03

    Family & Vendor Coordination

One coordinator handles the moving parts — sorting, packing, distribution, vendors, and communication with any family members participating remotely.

  4. 04

    Move, Distribution, or Home Preparation

The plan is carried out at a comfortable pace: careful packing, thoughtful distribution, a well-set new home, or a property prepared for sale.

  5. 05

    Final Review & Ongoing Support

A walkthrough to close the project cleanly, with documentation for family or advisors and the option of ongoing concierge support.

The First Call

What happens during the first conversation?

The first call is short, private, and unhurried — typically thirty to forty-five minutes. We listen more than we speak. We ask about the person or people at the center of the transition, what's already been decided, what's still uncertain, and what would feel like a good outcome.

We do not ask for sensitive medical information, and we do not pressure anyone into a decision. If a full engagement is right, we outline next steps and prepare a written plan. If Tremula isn't the right fit — or the timing isn't right — we'll say so.
